As an international tourism centre, Fraiburgo will have signs all over the city with information about Brazilian and local culture, history and leisure in English, Portuguese, Spanish and Fraiburguese. Its population will, certainly, be able to atten visitors using all these idioms and even some dialects. Many parts of the city will bring information about the neighbouring cities since from now on the future of tourism will be to get as much as information and culture with the less time possible as long as the peoples intellectual needs are satisfied, they will prefer to visit only one place where they can not only experience the place but also have a holistic view of the region.

The mains tourism attractions will be:

The apple museum;
The Araucárias’ lake with artificial waterfalls, several fountains, paddle-boats and its well preserved island.

The little castle so called Castelinho;
A Dutch windmill;
The dinosaurs of the Renar forest;
The paper museum of the extinct paper production Trombini, which will also be the Federal University of Fraiburgo;
5 overlooks including the central chimney;
The big clock of of the central water tower;
Big chess table at the Maria Frey square, where music and movies will take place;
The main sports of the city will be chess and tchoukball.
All in all, the city will be just like and amusement park that is constantly changing and never finished since it will be always evolving to something else. It will be a place where the people work, live and have fun and joyful moments.
Segue um pequeno manual para aqueles que tem curiosidade sobre a língua Holandesa ou Fraiburguesa, útil para aqueles e que um dia ainda vão acabar tendo que se aprofundar em alguma delas. Ao contrário do que muitos pensam, o foco de estudo e trabalho na Holanda não foi o idioma em si, mas sim os temas de “gestão empresarial”, “gestão do conhecimento”, “tecnologia da informação” e “inovação”. No entanto, acredito que é muito difícil compreender as dimensões destes assuntos sem um prévio conhecimento da cultura, da história e do contexto de cada região onde as organizações são geridas. Até existem algumas teorias interessantes na área de neuro-economia que ajudam a compreender a racionalidade ou irracionalidade humana durante a tomada de decisão, porém estas idéias ainda não são tão fáceis de se utilizar. Logo, não há escapatória, é preciso entender o jeitão de cada povo começando pela sua base (idioma) porque com a globalização e extensão dos mercados, esse tipo de conhecimento será cada vez mais necessário.
A tabela abaixo é resultado de várias dores de cabeça tentando fazer sentido das conversas em holandês. Até então não vi nenhum livro falando essas variações semânticas do “ja” holandês. Para o tchozinho era muito estranho ouvir conversas que pareciam lutas de Karate cheios de Iá!!! Iá, Iá Iá….(o jota se pronuncia como a letra “I” de igreja) Engraçado que nem os próprios holandeses eram conscientes disso. Basicamente é preciso estar atento a intonação e ao contexto.

Dear Dutch and international friends, it is quite some time I am back to Brazil but I am still in touch with the Dutch culture even being so far. Since I was in there, I had some troubles making sense of Dutch conversations therefore I decided to write down what means “ja” and then I expected it would somehow facilitate the communication with the Dutch, who, in most cases, are not yet fully aware of the wide variation of “ja” just by the changes of voice tones.
