This is where 100 years ago Brazilian people got killed in a unfair genocidal war against the Brazilian national forces who defended the interested of an American Railway company, which wanted 15km for each side of the railway for its own. This war is called (contested war). As as consequence, those who lived there were automatically expelled, killed or humiliated.
